Every year, officers are injured not only by external threats, but by the very equipment & PPE they are required to wear for extended periods. Injuries associated with load carriage occur over longer periods, but their implications remain very real.

Rigid duty belts. Uneven load carriage & distribution. poor ventilation. restricted movement. double-stack compression from armour cummerbunds layered over belt-mounted equipment.

These are known, preventable problems. They impact comfort, mobility, fatigue, heat management, musculoskeletal health, and long-term operational performance.

For too long, they have been accepted as "just part of the job." Not anymore.

The ENFORCR® ERGO X Belt System was designed to provide a biomechanically engineered, three-part modular platform that distributes weight evenly, actively manages microclimates through phase-change materials and hydrophobic 3D fabrics, and utilises a patent-pending laser-cut MOLLE system to minimise mechanical load and reduce injury risk.

We're honoured to have been recognised with the NAUMD Innovation Award, Garment Function, for the ENFORCR® ERGO X Belt System, an industry benchmark for protective equipment that redefines how load carriage interacts with the human body under stress.

Proud to be raising the standard for those who serve.

Australia is taking a major step forward in securing the future of local manufacturing.

Today at Parliament House, the Australian Fashion Council (AFC) and R.M.Williams launched the National Manufacturing Strategy for Fashion & Textiles 2026 - 2036. As the first initiative of its kind in Australia, this 10-year plan focuses on three vital priorities:

- Activating demand for Australian-made products
- Securing the skilled workforce our industry needs
- Accelerating advanced manufacturing

At ADA, we know first-hand the power and importance of local production. We are fortunate to partner with organisations that value locally manufactured goods, including the NSW Rural Fire Service, Queensland Fire Department, Country Fire Authority (CFA) Victoria, Victoria Police, the New Zealand Defence Force, and Defence Australia.

For over 50 years, we have proudly supported the Australian Defence Force by manufacturing its combat uniforms right here in Bendigo. This enduring partnership keeps us at the forefront of garment manufacturing and proves that Australia can produce world-class textiles.

Buying local delivers significant and far-reaching benefits. With a long-term perspective and a commitment to sovereign capability, we can build a stronger, more resilient industry together.

When a job escalates fast, law enforcement PPE needs to scale just as quickly.

Introducing the ENFORCR® Ghost Sleeve by ADA. Developed for breaching applications and operations where forearm contact points and exposure risks can increase in seconds. We are excited to see the value it will bring across broader operational use, especially where the overlooked vulnerability is the gap between glove and uniform.

Paired with ENFORCR Ghost Glove or ENFORCR Dark Armour, Ghost Sleeve helps deliver continuous cut protection from fingertips to mid-bicep, with details designed for real work:
• 45cm coverage for extended forearm protection
• Cut-resistant Graphex® performance
• Low-profile thumb loop to sit comfortably under a glove without bunching
• Secure Velcro bicep closure to help prevent slipping during movement
• Quick don and doff, worn over or under uniform depending on the time available

Big congrats to Jason Semple (Business Development Manager) and Michael Cook (Business Development Manager) for helping bring this one to life. Real-world input like this is what shapes better kit.

Question: In the field, where do you see forearm contact happen most?

Community shows up. And so do our local volunteers.

When the Harcourt bushfires hit close to home, we watched families and firefighters lose so much. Brigades across the state are doing it tough, often underfunded, and still turning out no matter what. After seeing the Axe Creek CFA Brigade on the news, they shared that they did not even have basics like a washing machine for uniforms our Bendigo team got to work to raise much needed funds to support the brigade.

Last week, Hayley Storey (Production Supervisor, ADA Bendigo) met with Axe Creek CFA volunteers, Russel and Neil and handed over funds raised to support their brigade, which will go towards practical essentials, including helmet lights, that help them do their job more safely.
To Axe Creek CFA, thank you for what you do.

If you would like to support the brigade too, you can donate via the CFA & Brigades Donations Fund.

Creativity has the power to build futures and transform communities. Our collaboration with Indigenous Design Labs has grown with the help of RMIT University. Phase 2 of ADA’s partnership with Indigenous Design Labs focused on developing a Learning program to empower young Indigenous designers in the digital and creative industry specifically focusing on apparel design. This partnership was built to create pathways, make meaningful connections and nurture the next generation of creative leaders.

Phase 2 of our project was led by ADA’s in-house designer Casey Demko, the learning program covered everything from research, ideation and sketching to concept development and production processes. The result? A capsule collection of t-shirts, hi-vis gear, and caps designed by the participants, some of which will be produced for ADA’s operational crew! 👕✨
