SUNDAY MARKET CANCELLED 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the significant amount of rain Ballarat has received over the past few weeks, Victoria Park is currently too wet and we have been advised by council that we are unable to use the venue for this Sunday’s market.

We have tried to find an alternative venue, however with grassed locations across Ballarat also affected, we’ve had little luck finding somewhere suitable to host this event.

Unfortunately, this means this Sunday’s Ballarat Sunday Market has been cancelled. We’re so sorry! This isn’t a decision we make lightly, but unfortunately the weather is one thing we simply can’t control.

Our next Ballarat Sunday Market will be held on the 25th of October, but you can visit our Nightlife Market before then on the AFL Grand Final Public Holiday on Friday 25 September, with over 150 stalls already booked! 🙌

✨UPDATE FROM MARKET ORGANISERS ✨

🌧️ SUNDAYS MARKET CANCELLED 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the persistent rain this week & a 95% chance of rain forecast for this Sunday, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this Sunday’s Laurimar Lakeside Community Market.

Although the majority of the market is held under covered pavilions, the school grounds and access pathways are simply too wet to safely hold the event and sustain the heavy vehicle traffic without causing significant damage.
The safety of everyone attending, along with protecting the school grounds, must come first.

We sincerely apologise for the disappointment & thank you for your understanding.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our next market on Saturday 13 September! ❤️
