March meet the maker Day 11: What are you working on today? I am in the studio creating this beautiful minky blanket featuring Australian animals. This weekend has been big for Australian flaura and fauna design and it is our most popular range this year. I got in early to get finished before the Melbourne heatwave takes hold!

March meet the maker Day 8: tell us about your brand! Elske was created to fill a gap in the baby bedding market using sophisticated prints that are fun and compliment new trends in baby rooms. The designs range from floral woodland to modern geometrics and Australian flora and fauna. Elske is a family business, and everything is hand crafted in the Elske studio in Melbourne Australia. Elske sells all over the world though etsy.

4. The human touch. ♥️ As I sew I often think of the precious baby soon to be wrapped in the soft organic fabric. It makes me smile knowing that I am part of making them comfortable and that someone special in their life has chosen a beautiful Elske print for them to be wrapped in.

Early mothers day post! A perfect day in the Elske studio. Some days I realise how lucky I am to be surrounded by my beautiful children. That is how I felt when Rose came to help me with a big wholesale order. She'd just finished exams at uni and could offer me some time. Rose is so talented she can jump from uni maths onto the machines. She played me some fun podcasts and we had home made lunch, which always tastes great when you're working hard. A very special day for me.
