Was able to finalise the design on the pallu of the saree (1st pic). By the way, the pallu is the part of the saree that hangs off the shoulder like a trail. However, I had another idea🦧 that I wanted to fit in instead and so I did a bit of a layout here (2nd pic). Wanted to keep the motifs from the 1st pic and the lotus in the beak as well, but wanted an opened up view of the peacock's tail. The opened up tail feathers will fill the entire palla and thats meant to be my final design🙈.
Thinking about designs...firstly, can I call it an original design? Maybe an inspiration (possibly a copy of the real original😅). We can only get inspired by what we see and what we can imagine from things we see around in creation🦚🦚. Secondly, through this exercise I asked myself: how much can I possibly fit into an inanimate object? Only a few ideas. And I marvel that the original design is live, mobile, moving freely and gives us a glimpse of its captivating beauty in various angles. Can't thank enough🙏 for these beautiful and majestic pieces of artistry that live, move, breathe and are capable of reproducing its kind! No words for the Supreme Artist and Grand Creator🫡🙏.
