I haven't posted in such a long time!
I have been blessed with work and beautiful clients.
This is a custom made mother of the bride dress. This lovely Mum knew exactly what she wanted, which made my job so much easier.
The fabric (from Franke Stuart, Melbourne),was wonderful to work with and the style chosen was easy to fit.
She looked stunning at her daughter's wedding.

Yesterday was an upcycle day. I cut my old skinny jeans off at the hip - angling down to the center front and center back - then added a bright print skirt. It's not perfect but a great start. My next one will be better.

What an amazingly busy year, 2025 has been.
Thank you to my beautiful brides, bridesmaids mothers of brides and grooms, deb girls and others for your trust in me. It truly has been a privilege to work with you all.
Thanks also to my sewing students - I love working with you and am planning more regular classes in 2026.
I will endeavour to keep posting photos of my brides over the holiday period and try to catch up🫣
We are closed now and will reopen on Monday 12th of January.
I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday ###

I haven't posted for so long. So sorry. This wedding season has been so, so busy. I have worked on some stunning dresses and with some beautiful brides.

Two projects were completed in Monday's class. Precision and accuracy were required when making such little objects.
The girls started off making corner bookmarks, then moved onto making mini pouches for storing tiny treasures.
So many skills were explored in both these projects and I am so proud of how far these girls have come in just a few classes.
