In 2022, we were looking for a bamboo waterproof blanket, but we couldn’t find one anywhere.

At the time, synthetic waterproof blankets had just started appearing in the market, and almost every manufacturer we spoke to was making them. They kept asking us to sell the synthetic ones instead.

We couldn’t find a manufacturer willing or able to make the bamboo version we wanted. It took us almost 6 months to finally find one.

Along the way, we realised why synthetic waterproof blankets were everywhere — they were easier to make, cheaper to produce, and people were already buying them. From a business perspective, they were much more lucrative.

But we stuck with what we believed in.

Natural bamboo fibre and cotton. 🌿

Three years later, despite how much easier it would have been to follow the market, we’re still sticking to that belief.

And we’re incredibly proud that we did.

We literally poured 2 litres of liquid three times—that’s a total of 6 litres—just to capture the perfect waterproof test. 💦
