l’uccello has an online store and designs fabric ranges & kits in our Melbourne Studio. We also host workshops, pop up shops & events in the Salon, on the second floor of the iconic Nicholas building in Swanston Street Melbourne. Our online store stocks our range of fabrics, craft kits & accessories, quilting fabrics, haberdashery, wool felt, gift items and handmade goods. We also stock beautiful

goods from Sajou, Merchant & Mills, Liberty and Sophie Digard. We are delighted to offer our beautiful wares conveniently posted to your door via our online store and look forward to meeting customers at one of our pop up events & workshops.

We are working on the pattern & kits for our new quilt Les Étoiles, they are due to be ready by the end of May and are now available for pre order. Les Étoiles features some of our favourite classic old quilt blocks including five different pieced star blocks & one appliqué star.
The quilt is made with our new range Constance, along with a few other favourites including Liberty & French General.
The pattern includes illustrated instructions and patterns, suitable for machine piecing with the exception of the hand pieced 8 pointed stars which we paper pieced, and the appliqué blocks.
If you prefer hand piecing the patterns are suitable for that method too.

Well it seems impossible that it is already a week ago that the AQC opened…….thank you so much for all the support and encouragement from our dear customers, it was so lovely to see you all in person ❤️❤️ We have just listed the patterns & kits for the Malmaison Project Set and the Glenda’s Garden Huswif on our website for Pre Order. They are already in production and we will have them ready around mid May, if not sooner.

Trying to get our new quilt finished for AQC next week, Nero’s keeping a close eye on things (and of course sitting on the finished blocks 😽) We are packing new projects, kits, gorgeous fabrics and of course lots of our new range Constance.
