This is a bit random but I’ve picked up the ol’ digital artwork again and just sharing bits and pieces that make me feel calm.

If you’re in Melbourne, damn. We are really going through it. My heart goes out to everyone here (also everywhere else experiencing lockdowns right now) - especially small businesses and those who’s mental health is severely impacted by these lockdowns.

The lockdown in June really smashed a lot of people and businesses, we hadn’t even recovered from that yet and we’re here again.

I can’t stress enough how much this hits us. Every event canceled, refund given and store closed has a ripple effect through soooo many different businesses, wages, bills, it’s never ending. We got s**t to pay and that doesn’t stop when everything closes. It’s hard enough being a small business without impacts like lockdowns being thrown in the mix.

Just here reminding ya that if you’re income is steady, the most helpful thing you can do is spread the love.

Whenever you’re considering buying from a bigger or international company, think about if there’s a way you can get what you need from a small business instead. Maybe it’ll cost a little extra, but the reward is worthwhile.

Whatever your stance is on vaccine is up to you, I’ve seen so many people getting super agro about others who encourage the vaccine - you’re not helping anything.

At the moment, vaccination is the closest thing to getting us out of this hell hole - if you’re open to it, get it sorted. If you’re not, that’s your prerogative but, don’t abuse others for wanting to see the end of this..

Personally, I’m not stoked about having to get a jab of anything but, if the difference is ~this~ vs. an opportunity to live my life again, I’ll put my body on the line for that, we just don’t really have time to wait.
