Domenico Gnoli (3 May 1933 – 17 April 1970) was an Italian painter and stage designer.
These highly detailed yet almost surrealist works depicting clothing and hair force us to zoom in on the intricacies of the seemingly mundane and perhaps appreciate what makes everyday items special.

Picking seasonal colours is one of the most fun parts of the design process for us. Our inspiration ranges from how we are feeling, the colours we personally would like to wear, nature, a small swatch we found in an antique market or a painting we have fallen in love with.
Trend forecasting is not on our radar and in fact we try to actively avoid what is trending in terms of colour - but we will also listen to you on what you are looking for in terms of colour palette.

There’s a quiet confidence in slipping into that linen shirt that has been part of your wardrobe for years.
The fabric falls with ease, soft against the skin from years of washing and wearing, carrying a sense of calm that moves with your day.
It’s effortless but considered, relaxed yet refined, like the mornings that unfold slowly.
In it you feel unhurried, grounded and quietly elegant. You’re dressed not to impress but to live well.

Rose wears the Pippi Shirt in White - a true staple of the Metta range, here to stay.
