Thank you to everyone who has contacted us concerned about our closure at end August. All of the staff at Mickey Blue are fit and well. Thanks to the customer support the business is sound and profitable. I had every intention of keeping the shop going until a potential purchaser of the building requested I vacate. Having agreed to the request and cancelled orders and basically started to turn this ship around the buyer then pulled out. By this time I was too far down the road to turn back and so I am continuing with the closure. Throughout my 21years the owners have been exceptional landlords, especially helping me survive Covid intact, and they are now graciously helping me move on. So if you would like a prime shop in Main Street let me know and I will steer you in their direction. I shall take a short break and then decide if I continue in this industry. I big thank you to my extremely skilful colleagues, Suzana and Carrie, who uphold the ethics of Mickey Blue, provide excellent customer service and diligently work in the business as if it were their own – I am proud to have them working with me.
