Finally...a peek at some of my stock.
Eclectic carries a wide range of pre loved books. I try to buy only good condition books however a hard to find book may need repairs. Some books could be showing their age and use. ALL books are cleaned and disinfected before I put them on display.
I keep : books signed by authors.
a fair range of Enid Blyton from before and after Dick and F***y changed their names.
an eclectic mix of books published by 'Penguin' with the popular orange spine.
Comics such as Disney, Footrot Flats, Archie, Garfield. Also a couple of hard to find Manga.
Eclectic also carries some vintage items such as:
the pictured Deco mirror with a Kangaroo (quite rare!),
a pedal Singer sewing machine ( very eco friendly!)and
a glass rolling pin ( traditionally filled with iced water to keep the dough and pastry cool ).
For game lovers I keep vintage and quirky games. Current stock includes Elastics, 1970's Swap cards, Yo-yo s, Pick-up-sticks and more.
