Happy birthday to all the horses!
If it wasn’t for my love of horses, Lariat Leather wouldn’t be what it is today 🤎

I was lucky enough to grow up in a family that probably had me riding before I could walk. I’ll be forever grateful to my parents for everything they taught me - and for putting me on some great horses over the years.

From pony club days to Polocrosse weekends, chasing cows through the bush and in the arena, jumping, sporting, barrel racing, and exploring the mountains - I’ve been lucky to try a bit of everything.

Which brings me to 2021, with some scrap leather and a little guidance from Dad, I made my first bridle and breastplate. I thought they were masterpieces at the time - and while I’ve come a long way since, that moment sparked something much bigger than I ever expected.

So here’s to the horses—past, present, and still to come.
