Merry Christmas every one, I hope you get time to play with your "pretties" over the holidays. My grandson Henrik which some of you have met over the last few years when he helps me in the "shop" when he visits sang at the Nairne carols this year, he gave a great performance ...not that I am biased at all, with him is Miss Ellen Lyall his music teacher at St. Marks school.

I finally managed to finish one of my own quilts, I have been procrastinating trying to decide on a quilting pattern and thread colour, its so much easier for customers quilts ..... my grandson wanted to help me show it off, the fabric is Linework designed by Tula Pink, the quilting pattern is diagonal plaid, I used a glide grey thread which hides really well in both the black and white fabrics.

One of my recent quilts, The pattern is over the rainbow, which works perfectly with the multi colours fabric, the backing is a wideback called Patches.
