I can remember as a very young child being mesmerised by the Hollywood silver screen actresses and their incredible couture designed outfits

Think Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Sophia Loren just to name a few

To some it is vintage, but to me that glamour of yesteryear is timeless and elegant

These days when I show up to events, I always create an outfit that deeply resonates with what I have loved for decades and of course reinterpreting to suit my personality and personal style

This gorgeous floral print and matching shawl was a perfect design for the Mother’s Day Flower Show as part of the Queensland Art and Fashion Festival on the Gold Coast

After 45 years of creating my own couture outfits, it is forever an exciting journey to show off the creations in style

The delustered side was used for the dress giving a deeper shade and the shiny lighter side was used for the shoulder wrap and bow design

It all came together so beautifully in this stunning dress perfect for the garden wedding
