Sometimes you can just take in the leg of pants on one side only.
These wide leg pants needed to be reduced to a skinny leg. Sewing one side only would make a weird dog leg so both sides have to be reduced evenly.

Dress to skirt and jacket conversion.

A customer loved the fabric of this dress and asked for it to be made into a skirt.

The skirt is fitted with darts, a curved inside facing and a centre back invisible zip.

The belt was added to the bottom of the bodice to give it length and a neat hem. I folded the belt into a mitred corner at the front edge and made it a feature of the opening.
