This is a big THANK YOU because it is time for Thinker Kids to say goodbye!

I started Thinker Kids Co. as a little bit of fun in 2020 when on maternity leave with my first baby. I loved exploring with him and setting up sensory learning experiences at home as we weren't able to attend activities or community run baby groups due to Covid.
Over a few months the idea came to me that I could curate these small-world sensory play kits for other children stuck inside and thus Thinker Kids Co. was born. In the first week I had sold 50 of them, and so, chasing my tail making chocolate/cinnamon/lavender/orange/rosemary play dough during Noah's naps, the teacher in me was excited imagining these 'Thinker Kids' having something purposeful and creative to do while indoors.
I had a lot of fun doing this and also found my inner woodwork student as I leant into making (cutting/sanding/gluing) my own wooden playdough stampers to be sold alongside the kits! As Noah became more mobile, I was running out of time to put these kits and stampers together and in 2021 started to stock quality wooden toys to sell as part of my little store.
In 2022 with my second baby due, I began to introduce baby items like clothing, bibs, beanies, swaddles and blankets as there was no where to purchase these items locally.
It has been a wonderful and challenging learning experience as I learnt to navigate how to build a website, order stock, track inventory, engage with customers and the most time consuming: content creation on social media!!
