Another creation to add to the collection. I have seen a few very similar designs in stores lately and wanted to put my own special touch to this dress.

Gingham cotton blend with soft layers, gathered sleeves & tie backs. Can't wait to wear this!!

My little side hustle of Big Pricks & Lil Pricks sock protectors for adults & kids have sold so fast that I have been a busy little beaver getting more stock made!

It is so wonderful to have locals support my little business!

And the debut of 'Big Pricks' & 'Lil Pricks' is here!!

When I returned to Australia, I saw loads of people wearing sock covers over their work boots. I figured life was too short for boring khaki or black sock covers & wanted something fun & bright to wear whilst out working in the paddock or garden! And after some research, I designed what I believe to be, the brightest & best sock covers on the market!

These sock covers will keep those pesky prickles out of your socks & dust & dirt out of your work boots. 👢

Our covers come in both long & short styles, made in a range of colours. I can also custom make them to suit you ie you may have wider calf muscles & require extra width.

Once a colour has sold out, keep an eye for more designs to come.

A reminder that these covers are hand made! So they come with slight imperfections that you may not get with a factory produced product. But know that they are made with loads of love & sometimes a few swear words! ❤️

After spending a week in Broome recently, I am hopeful of warmer weather arriving down south soon! So I had this beautiful soft linen in a very Kimberly-esque design that I made into these two garments.

One is a cool dress with a pinch pleat at the front & a deep pleat for dramatic effect at the back. And it has pockets! Who doesn't love a dress with pockets!?

The other is a singlet style top with a gather at the front with elastic to add a bit of drama & a low scoop back hem.

Both garments are going to be lovely & cool come the warmer weather with linen very much in style this summer & the dress is bang on point with styles seen in stores (I am always on the lookout on what styles are in & fabrics.

Some days are really great days of sewing, other days go a little sideways like this! But they are a whole lots less than they were at the beginning of my sewing journey 12 years ago!

With the cooler weather here (cool for WA weather anyhow!), I wanted to make a hoody to stay cosy in.

I had some beautiful pink brushed merino blend that I had sitting in the cupboard that made the journey over from NZ with us & some floral jersey knit. The two were a match made in heaven!

I decided to add the floral contrast to the hood & onto the cuffs for a great little pop.

As a lover of all things pink, I can't wait to wear this item soon!

A beautiful hoody for a beautiful lady.
Made with luxurious velvet accented with gorgeous feminine florals on the back & peeping through on the lining of the hood.
