As I look back on our journey, I can’t help but feel a wave of nostalgia. Our very first market, showcased in slide 2, took place in our hometown of Narromine on March 24th, 2019. It’s hard to believe that we plan to step out of the shop by the similar date this year.

This decision feels like a leap of faith, but deep down, I know it’s the right move. Reflecting on where we started, I’m filled with gratitude for trusting my instincts. Every challenge and triumph has brought me to this moment, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Here’s to new beginnings. Big big big love from us! X

Days spent in the shed are more than just work; they’re our passion.
While others may enjoy the luxury of door-to-door delivery, we embrace the journey of hand-sourcing every unique piece you see. Each item tells a story, crafted with care from vintage, antique, rustic, and reclaimed materials.
Our superpower lies in the time and dedication we invest, ensuring that every piece not only meets our high standards but also carries a sense of history and individuality.

I will let you in on some tips for sourcing your own pieces here are some of the most important tips I have learned.

Know Your Style - Familiarize yourself with different styles (mid-century, farmhouse, industrial, etc.) to identify what resonates with you.

Research Materials: Understand the types of wood and materials commonly used in antiques. This knowledge can help you assess quality and authenticity.

Check for Condition: Look for signs of wear, but also assess the structural integrity. Minor imperfections can add character, but ensure the piece is still functional.

Look for Unique Details: Pay attention to craftsmanship, such as joinery, hardware, and finishes.

Ask About History: Whenever possible, inquire about the piece’s history. Stories can enhance the value and connection you have with the piece you gather.

Be Patient: Finding the perfect piece often takes time. Don’t rush—enjoy the hunt!

Trust Your Instincts: If something resonates with you, trust your gut. A piece should speak to you and fit your aesthetic.

A big cuddle, an even bigger thank-you!

Running this business is one crazy ride, and God, I am so damn grateful for everyone who has supported, encouraged, and helped us grow! Without you, we quite literally wouldn’t exist. How do I even begin to say thank you? I’m not too sure, but I do know that I am going to do it again for another year. I will get dirty searching every crevices and cress, I will spend hours and days finding that piece that speaks to you. I will carry what sometimes feels like a very heavy weight mentally, and work 24/7 because of you, your support, and my passion for what Woven Sailor embodies. I adore all your kind words, wisdom, support, and encouragement over the year.
