I have created an animation inspired by memories of magical adventures in the backyard as a kid growing up in Australia. Running under a sprinkler to keep cool on hot summer afternoons, surrounded by vibrant bugs, birds and native flowers.
My brother, sister and I would spend hours and hours making up stories and games together. It really felt like magic to me. Throughout the process of putting this piece together I have reflected on this shared imagination and how it supported us in building lives of creativity, play and thinking differently.
One of the best parts of this experience has been meeting and learning from the other incredible artists involved 🫶
Tomorrow is the last night to catch this in motion 🌌🌠
