Hi all. Just a lovely little reminder of the joy of being able to do business in such a lovely peaceful vibe as what we can enjoy in Nimbin Village. The Mad Hattery is right in amongst it so you can chill to the ambience while you’re choosing your hat. Or you could possibly spot that perfect hat that you didn’t realise you needed until you were chilling out in said ambience. Either way works! 🌻

I left the chalks outside the shop today and these gorgeous girls came along and sat, cross legged in a circle and drew. I only noticed their creation after they left. Thank you girls, it’s beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️

What better asset can a Hat Shop have than its very own hat maker! The lovely Tracey (Trace Makes Hatz) custom makes hats to order and we always have a gorgeous array of her creations in store. She is in-store on weekends, 10-4 and welcomes all enquiries.

Winter is here! Oh my Lord, I was so not expecting a Nimbin winter to be this cold 🥶 ❄️
I wish I could say pop in to the warmth of the Mad Hattery to browse our gorgeous hats, but I cannot lie. You must rug up before you come in 😬🥶 🤭 But there are treasures worth finding. Just saying 👒 x

The corner of a hand-stitched sail made in the 1800s. Canvas sails were made of h**p. H**p is 3 times stronger than jute and was preferred because it was unaffected by salt water.
