As a conscious designer, sourcing sustainable fabrics is a non-negotiable as it is so important for me to know that the products I design & create will have a more positive impact on the environment. Introducing deadstock fabrics for the Lana mesh tops was a way to start utilising textiles that already exist in the world and giving them a new life - as opposed to constantly manufacturing more and more fabrics all the time. With the fashion industry producing 92 million tons of waste every year, it’s time for us to start caring more about what we wear and how our wardrobes are affecting the world 🌏💕
