Betty Basics never disappoints.

A limited number of these pieces arrived in store this afternoon.

I loved them so much I had to take some home with me and I will be modelling it in store tomorrow from 10am-2pm.

We experimented with the effects of rock salt with watercolour painting tonight at Colour Me Calm. Some interesting results. The blooms created on the page, by the salt absorbing the paint, made the artwork take on a life of its own. Some even with a little shimmer.

The story behind the photo in the window……

This is one of my favourite photos of my Mum taken with her sister Katharyn.

This Mother’s Day will be my first without my Mum. I have so many lovely memories including her baking delicious biscuits for us all to enjoy.

I have had Mum’s favourite biscuit recipe printed for everyone to enjoy this Mother’s Day.
