During a business trip last month, we came across YEANAY in Osaka — a space that felt far beyond a simple store, more like a quiet home for a taste and attitude that has been thoughtfully cultivated over time.

We visited for meetings regarding NO CONTROL AIR and FIRMUM, two brands that MAILLOT will soon be introducing, but what we encountered there was a world that extended well beyond the brands themselves. From the silhouettes of the garments and the texture created by the materials, to the way objects and space seemed to breathe together, every element left a deep impression without ever feeling overstated.

What stayed with us the most was the sincerity in the way everything was presented. It was a place where the space spoke before words did, and where attitude was felt before product. As someone who has long admired their work as a fan, it made the experience all the more special to witness how their philosophy truly lives and breathes within the space.

A great space always leaves you with a new perspective.
This visit, too, has left a lasting inspiration for the direction MAILLOT will continue to shape in the coming season.

During the recent Seoul Dong-A Marathon, we had the chance to head over to Seoul with the Outta team and support people doing what they love and carving out their own path. It was one of those experiences that leaves you feeling energised and genuinely inspired long after you’re back.

Before we knew it, it was already April. Time’s been moving quickly, and it’s probably been a full-on start to the year for most of us. The days can blur together sometimes, but even within that, we’ve all been showing up and doing our best in our own way.

Looking back, there’s been a real mix of moments. Plenty of easy laughs, good times, and also quieter days where things felt a bit heavier. Sometimes it’s the small, everyday things that end up meaning the most, and other times it’s the challenges that stay with us and shape how we move forward.

But maybe that’s exactly what makes it all worthwhile. It’s not just about the highlights, it’s the combination of everything that makes life feel full and real. Even the tougher moments have their place, helping us grow and become who we are.
