What more can I say…feeling very humbled by your support & purchases of my garments over this past year. My love is being part of the slow fashion industry, where each garment has been carefully constructed of fabrics ranging from remnants to designer end rolls to once used tablecloths & tea towels. Where there is no excess garment wastage ending up in landfill & most of all, where each garment is handmade & a one of a kind.
May 2023 be a year of love & kindness to you all!

The linen in this bag is absolutely beautiful, it’s an open weave with the pattern screen printed on. I’ve teamed it with a seatbelt as the strap as I find seatbelts durable but also very wearable as their form is soft. Using upcycled or preloved pieces in my designs & making a limited number of works keeps me conscious of my sustainability ethos & slowfashion passion😊. There’s seven of these & you’ll find them later today. Happy hump day peoples 💗x

Random screen print on linen for a customer in Canberra. This linen was bought as a designer end roll in which I then screen printed & made up into this design. Pink touches added to the neckline & sleeve edges with hand sewn detailing. Slow fashion! Love 💗

So…..here’s the finished hand painted hessian beach bags made from upcycled coffee sacks. There’s a generous pocket on the front & hand sewn detail along the side seams. And….they’re in pastel summer colours 💗💙💚to get you in the vibe🌼

Here’s a couple tops heading to today for the rack. They’re both a mix of cotton & linen panels with a special little appliqué for fun. Made from remnants of a found vintage curtain, nerida hansen remnant pack & other linen leftovers.
The change of season has come, so looking forward to some warmth🌼.

A recent Darwin holiday took me out of my comfort zone & the experience of this has left me with a feeling of empowerment & happiness.
