Today is a special day for my granddaughter Frankie who turns 17 today and hopefully pass her driving test to make it even more special. Frankie is the one pictured on my page on her 5th Alice in Wonderland Birthday party. She has been helping and learning doing basic hemming jobs for the past 2yrs as a few of you might know, she will continue to do so next yr in her final year 12 of highschool, so big thanks to Frankie and thanks to all my clients once again this past year for bringing all your garments to be altered/hemmed by us, it has been very much appreciated. For those that don't know my hours are 9am to 5pm Tues to Sat by appt and I will be taking a few weeks off from next week till Tues 13th Jan, last day to bring any sewing jobs will be Sat and to be collected either Tues or Wed next week.

Thanks for trusting me and helping you all with sewing alterations during 2024 and big welcome and thank you to my 16yr old granddaughter Frankie who has been busily doing most basic hemming jobs starting off in Feb with helping sewing all curtains for a caravan and then continuing a few afternoons after school each week hemming pants, skirts and dresses which has enabled me to concentrate on wedding and formal dresses.

I have a client that is looking to sell a dress that was too big for her daughter's school formal. It's a size 6 and she ended up getting another in size 4 which fits her perfectly, so if any of you are interested or know of someone that is I can pass on her details, sorry I don't know the price she is after but sure she is up to negotiating.

After a very busy year with school formals, weddings and my normal clients requests for varied alterations, I have decided to cease using my business facebook/instagram page so as to cut back a little , from Jan 2024 please message or phone me on 0410429017.

A beautiful Mother of the Groom dress I recently altered, hemming 4 layers, taking up shoulders and shortening sleeve pieces.

Happy Easter everyone. Hope you all enjoy the Easter break and school holidays. I will be having a short break till next Wed. If you need hems let down on winter school uniforms or new uniform hems taken up, I will be happy to help with these from Wed 12th.
