We are looking for a tall woman 6'0" or taller and AU size 4 or AU size 6 to join our wonderful team of test fit models! We have most of the other sizes covered but we need someone to test our smallest sizes!

Thanks to covid, casualwear and athleisure have really taken a front seat in everyday fashion. Leggings and a sweater or hoodie have been a popular go to this winter - comfort plus! Especially if your casual wear is designed and made to fit your Tall frame! Watch this space to get yours!

Hello! I thought it about time to introduce myself! My name is Mary-Alice aka Mez and I am the 6'3" fashion designer behind That Tall Store.

I hated the days at high school where we didn't have to wear our uniform and would just wear men's clothing. I had my first child in 2008 at 20yrs of age and man, all I wanted was functional clothing that actually fit me. Especially nursing wear!! Do you think I could find it in NZ or AU? The WORLD??! You know I couldn't! None that I liked or could afford the shipping for that was for sure!

This business has been a 10 year dream and after initially trying to start up in 2013, recieving failed sample after failed sample, and realising just how little I knew, I put it on the back burner for a few years. But it never stopped calling me! Duh. Coz I had to keep wearing clothes 🙄
In 2015 I enrolled in a Diploma of Fashion Design and Merchandising. Lets just say ill tell you that story another day but in 2019 I finally graduated and after a quick holiday, That Tall Store was conceived!

Different to my initial view of the business, That Tall Store is a brand built from the ground up with sustainability and ethics as a focus. We are limited for choice in terms of sustainable materials in Australia but after learning about the fashion industries MASSIVE effect on our planet and its people, I just couldn't bring myself to go down that traditional fashion route.

Its been a long slow journey of planning, sourcing, learning and practising and I am finally getting to a point where I am seeing actual garments come together! Very rewarding!
