That is a beautiful piece! What you are looking at is a handcrafted replica of a Nettipattam (നെറ്റിപ്പട്ടം), a traditional ornamental caparison used in Kerala, India.
Traditionally, these are worn by festival elephants during major celebrations like the famous Thrissur Pooram, but smaller, elegant versions like this one are highly popular as vibrant wall hangings to bring good luck and a touch of heritage into a home.
