A treasure we don't value until it is gone.

Health for us Muslims is more than muscle. It is more than general fitness. It's about our duty as Muslims in this world. To be able to contribute and take care of people around us.

Get the weight off your body and put the weight of duty on your heart. May Allah accept from us all.

You inherited an identity you never chose.

Who you are was shaped by your family and forefathers — their habits, their wounds, even the sins passed down like they were yours to carry.

But Allah ﷻ engineered a way out: He re-rooted our identity in Ibrahim (as), and ultimately in the Prophet ﷺ.

I pray the next time you search for purpose, you can tie it to your identity as a descendent of your father Ibrahim and find meaning in it.

Eid Mubarak. 🌙

No matter who you are, no matter where you are. In this blessed day, may God ease your pain, your suffering, your ailments. May you find peace and relief in all corners of your heart. May you find a solution to your problems from where you least expect it.

From Palestine, to Bangladesh - Syria to Ukraine. Those who are oppressed, the unheard. There is the One who knows of your pain and He is your ally. And in this blessed day, I pray. You find peace.

This video is your guide to reclaiming control over your life this Ramadan 2024, focusing on the importance of mastering self-discipline, understanding the role of dopamine, and overcoming our deepest desires. We delve into the concept of 'nafs' (self-desires), which are often more challenging to conquer than external temptations. Ramadan offers a unique opportunity for self-improvement and spiritual growth, urging viewers to set clear, achievable goals and embrace practices grounded in Islamic teachings.

Additionally, we explore the science of dopamine—a neurotransmitter that rewards us with feelings of pleasure upon achieving goals, influencing our motivation, willpower, and tenacity. However, our brains don't distinguish between high-effort achievements and instant gratification activities, both of which release dopamine. This often leads us down the path of least resistance, opting for easy, feel-good activities over more challenging, rewarding ones. This Ramadan, we encourage you to break this cycle, use the month as a stepping stone towards leading a more disciplined life, and emerge stronger, enlightened, and with a heightened sense of self-control.

To further support your journey, we're excited to announce a Ramadan series filled with tips and guidance on enhancing our Ramadan experience. Subscribe to follow our journey towards self-transformation and taking control of our lives, one step at a time. Stay tuned for our next episode, where we'll dive into goal setting and systems building to help you make the most of this holy month.
