Paula & Jo Designer Dressmakers Bridal gowns, ball gowns, bridesmaid gowns, and special occasion wear. Nothing is too difficult.

We start with a free design consultation to explore the many options in creating the perfect gown or outfit for you. We have hundreds of fabrics to choose from, even importing beautiful hand loomed silks from England, and source trims and detailing from all over the world. Once you have chosen your design, we hand-cut each pattern piece so it is individually tailored to your body shape and size. T

hen we further sculpture your garment in a number of fitting sessions – ensuring the perfect fit. All work is done in our Leederville Studio, which allows fittings for pregnancies or last minute fly-ins. We even go as far to send calicos around the world to be fitted, so that the garment can be mostly made before the client flies into Perth. Paula & Jo have each been in the Couture Bridal and Eveningwear industry for over 20 years. We form an intimate relationship with all our clients and enjoy spoiling every one.

This style was such a special order. Our clients husband is a fine arts painter, so in my pesky wisdom I suggested that he hand paint the organza. Well, that stressed him out but his wife adored the idea. What he did instead of hand painting directly onto cloth, is to get one of his paintings digitalised and printed onto the fabric.
They even gifted me one of his pieces at the end...how special is that?
