Audaz studio is rollin' back into 2026…

After being MIA for nearly 18 months, I’m here to address a few things:

1. I had to halt my start-up business after less than 6 months of trading due to severe burnout. I was studying full-time, doing 12 units a year, working full-time in an events company, and still, I stupidly thought I could be superwoman and start my business while juggling those. I was SOOO wrong.
2. I learned a lot from my burnout, especially after reaching stage 5 of the habitual burnout phase, which led to experiencing depression for the first time in my life. It was a really dark time for me, and it took over a year just be able to function and feel properly again.
3. I’m back now, healed mentally and physically, and I now understand what it means to have a balanced lifestyle and stop pushing my health aside as a priority over anything else.
4. I’m ready now to fully commit to my passion, having finished my degree and really showcase the creative leather concepts I’ve had bottled up all this time. Bring on 2026!

Transparency is a foundational principle in my business model. It's essential for people to know what goes into the products they buy, just like reading the labels on the back of food packaging.

Brands often label their belts with "100% Leather," "100% Genuine Leather," or simply "Genuine Leather." However, they frequently fail to disclose crucial information, such as:

- The type of leather used?
- Which part of the hide is used?
- The leather finish, or whether the finish is actually leather?
- The actual percentage of real leather in the belt?

Some brands manufacture belts with only half of the product actually being made from 10-20% real leather. They use "Bonded Leather," which is a mixture of leftover scraps and fibers from genuine leather combined with a plastic binding material. Some brands even emboss the material to make it appear like genuine leather.

As a consumer, you might think you're purchasing a high-quality belt, only to find that it needs replacement within a few years.

With proper care, belts should be a lifelong investment.
