Is there a better review than your nephew (who you wrote the book for) stopping crying instantly the second you say the words "I'd like to tell you a wonderful tale"?!

Sometimes it's tough being on the other side of the country to this little guy, feeling like I'm missing out on so much bonding. But then this story and the way it instantly calms him makes me feel closer to him than ever ❤️

It's been a while since I've posted so I thought I'd share what I've been up to! Aside from all my photography work and my new job, I have been preparing all 3 stories ready to print as books! I'm about to press order and then I will FINALLY be able to make my work available to order!

Although I'm not officially taking orders yet, I am currently working on my first commissioned book for an upcoming birt...

Although I'm not officially taking orders yet, I am currently working on my first commissioned book for an upcoming birthday! I've been at the computer for hours doing this and I'm loving every second...I'm about half way through currently! Creating these books is a really lengthy process but so exciting to know kids can have their own personalized stories ❤️
For those interested in ordering...I am currently awaiting my first book delivery which may be a few weeks! Once it's back, as long as I am happy with the quality I will then be able to start taking orders!

Today's illustration is quite a special one...meet Talkie the giraffe! Talkie actually started this entire business in a weird way; he's one of my dog Bilbo's toys and when Bilbo gradually began destroying him at work, myself and my colleague Laura began rhyming jokes about his demise, I then took it a little too far and wrote an entire story 🤣 when I read this to friends I was told that I needed to write kids books...and so Upon a Story began!
