International Eco Fashion Week Australia ( EFWA) collaborates with designers, artists, community, media and educational establishments to raise awareness for envir

onmentally conscious fashion. Established by Perth based Australian Eco fashion designer/visual artist Zuhal Kuvan-Mills of Green Embassy. EFWA is Australia's very first International Eco Designer runway showcasing a unique balance of dazzling fashion and essential eco education.

In July this year, EFWA went to Central Sulawesi as part of the 2026 Buya Subi Project with the aim to provide promotion, education, investment & cultural awareness around traditional weaving in Donggala artisanal textiles & safeguard their future. 🤲🌿

We have been recognized for our positive impacts with this project on an international level & look forward to continuing this project through to 2030.

When it comes to sustainability, it's so important to focus on the positive efforts that we are making to help the environment instead of only the negative impacts caused by fast fashion companies. 💚

Thank you to the people of Palu, Central Sulawesi, women weavers in Towale Village, Indonesian embassies & all of those involved in making this project more impactful. As well as an incredibly huge thank you to our EFWA family for your undying support, following us around the globe to advocate for sustainability, cultural heritage and environment. 🥰🌱🙌

Becoming something completely different to their roots, though still a token of where they have come from, carrying with them remnants of the land and the energy that has gone into crafting them. 🌾🤲♾️
