From Albany to Vancouver ,🍁LJR Designs ✨💚🌿.com.au showcase with Buya Subi project at EFWA runway in Vancouver.
This heirloom garment began with 2 metres of Buya Subi cloth, handwoven by women in Donggala, Central Sulawesi. 300 years of knowledge.
To honour the cloth, Linda paired it with European linen — two textile lineages in conversation. Linen brings drape, breath, and its own deep history. Donggla handmade textile brings structure, story, and sacred motifs .
The result: An heirloom piece designed to be kept, mended, and passed down.
