Each piece is handcrafted with care, offering exceptional fit, quality, and creativity.
I am a freelance costumer and seamstress trained in many aspects of constructing costumes and fashion garments, along with the maintenance of costumes for dance, theatre and film productions. I have experience with not only creating garments, but also with millinery, headpi
eces, dance wear, props, garment design, dressing, wardrobe supervision and wardrobe maintenance. For as long as I can remember, I've had a passion for costumes and fashion. I've always been a creative person and started dressing up at a young age. As a teenager with bigger fashion ambition than her budget, I began teaching myself how to sew. After graduating highschool I began study at TAFE SA Marleston in Fashion Design & Technology, but after completing Cert. IV I realised that my passion lied with the more extravagant side of garment construction and transferred to the Diploma of Costume for Performance at ACArts. After completion of my diploma Iβve had the absolute pleasure of working for various companies and events such as:
Australian Dance Theatre
Adelaide Fringe
Bamboozled Productions
Australian Dance Theatre
Restless Dance Theatre
Windmill Theatre
SA Film Corporation
WOMADelaide Festival
Cabaret Festival
Also offering sewing services to the general public for projects such as wedding gowns, custom costumes, dressmaking and alterations. A huge part of my love for making is that I constantly need to learn new skills and techniques, so I love the challenge that each new creation brings and the sheer satisfaction of completing a garment that makes the wearer feel amazing.
