😔 After nine unforgettable years, we have made the very difficult decision to close our Port Douglas store.
The past 18 months have been an enormous and challenging time for us and our beautiful tropical town. Retail has changed dramatically, with big companies like Temu and Shein offering cheaper versions of almost everything. Add to that the increasing cost of travel to our town, rising rents, and my own cancer journey—which meant I couldn’t spend as much time in-store as I would have liked—and this decision, though heartbreaking, felt necessary.
We have absolutely loved every single day of sliding open those big, beautiful timber doors, choosing the island tunes, lighting the store candle, and meeting the most interesting people from all over the world. Most of all, we treasured helping women feel good about themselves again—whether in swimwear or a flowing dress.
To our incredible local customers: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your constant love, support, and encouragement over the years has meant everything to us. We’re so sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye in person, but you’ll still see us around town (most likely at IGA).
The biggest thank you of all goes to our partners, kids, and friends—for helping us build our dream store, for the 3,276 incredible days of playing in it, and for standing by us as we close this chapter.
Thank you for everything, and we’ll see you all online.
