π Saltwater Yarning π
This is one of my favourite pieces π it tells the story of my relationship with the ocean. One of my favourite places and my feelings I have when Iβm near it.
I was born a river girl, still am a river girl at heart and love being back home on my Country out West but thereβs something about the ocean that has been a huge part of my life in adulthood and thereβs something that always draws me back.
I hope you like it as much as I do π₯°
π Saltwater Yarning represents a place where the soft and rough grains of textured sand meet the strength of the ocean, where the whitewashed waves come in as quickly as they go.
The circles represent a personβs relationship with the ocean, sitting whether it is on their own or with family, the feelings the ocean makes you have when you are present just listening, smelling, touching, watching or taking it all in.
The feelings of the cold water touching you, that first moment and each moment after that, the feelings are different every single time.
The joy, the happiness or even the sorrow and sadness when times are tough.
π Saltwater Yarning is a wholesome feeling π
