What a big weekend for Bubba Atlas, we had the My Kids Market on Saturday & The drive thru and drop off event with council on Sunday. The current state of the shop speaks for itself. The racks are still bare because I didn’t get a chance to unpack from the markets before receiving a very large amount of donations, but the floor is looking full 🫠😂

A huge thank you to our beautiful community for the support over the weekend. You all truly showed up 🦋 A HUGE shoutout to those who stepped up to help me. A council workers family who I had never met before went above and beyond for me on Sunday. Let’s not forget my friends dedicating hours sorting through stock with me 🧡

You best believe our racks will be well stocked after some days of sorting.

I already have a huge pile of stuff that will be going directly to Hope in a Suitcase, who provides essentials for children entering the foster care system 🫂

Our box for The Nappy Collective is also very full after this weekends events 🤗

Something tells me I need to open a bigger shop, I’ve outgrown this space very quickly.

Also, who let me sign up for such a big weekend not even two weeks post op?! shhh don’t tell my ENT surgeon 👀😂

Drive-thru & Drop-Off Update 👇

Due an extraordinary community response, today’s Drive-thru & Drop-off event has now reached capacity and we’re unfortunately unable to accept any further items.

The event has therefore had to end earlier than our advertised time of 1pm.

As a pilot event, the level of participation and generosity from our community has exceeded our expectations. We sincerely apologise to anyone who was planning to visit us, particularly those who may already be on their way.

❗️Bubba Atlas will be closed this Saturday, August 22nd.

Nanna will be in the shop Tomorrow (Friday 21st) so if you are needing something, be sure to stop by.

My recovery from surgery has been a little slower than I anticipated, and I’m needing an extra day of rest.

I will be back in the shop from Tuesday next week, with LOTS of new stock.

Bubba Atlas will slowly be transitioning to the new branding in the coming weeks, the same great services and bargains, just a different logo 💛✨

What an incredible weekend 💛

Mum and I headed down to Newcastle for My Kids Market NSW and it was absolutely amazing. We had the best time hosting our stall, I’m so grateful I get to call this ‘work’ 🤩

The good news? The My Kids Market is coming back to Port Macquarie on Saturday, August 29th!

Want to sell? There are still stalls available for preloved baby + kids items, Perfect chance to clear your children’s clothing and toy room AND make some extra cash.

There is also business stalls for anyone with a family/kids orientated business. It’s an amazing opportunity to advertise and showcase your services/products.

Just want to shop? Mark your calendar and come say hi! If you love the bargains at Bubba Atlas, you will be sure to love this market!!

While Bubba Atlas is closed Sundays & Mondays, there’s always work happening behind the scenes! This weekend I’ve been busy washing and sorting stock. I have lots of amazing finds ready to hit our bargain bins and shelves. 🧺

To kick things off, THIS WEEK ONLY, we’re having a $1 Sale on a large selection of cot & bassinet sheets, single bedding, blankets and more.

The Nappy Collective box was once again overflowing with donations this week 🤩 I’m always so grateful for our beautiful community, thank you for making this happen.

This is just another reminder to you all, that Bubba Atlas at Shop 4/21 Short Street, Port Macquarie is a drop off point for The Nappy Collective donations.

They accept opened & unopened packs of nappies and the donations go directly to local charities that have partnered with them.
