Hi Folks. Just a public notice to let you all know that
Altered Threads /Costume Conundrum..(Old Dancing Fabrics) in horton street will be closed from Friday 10th of August to Tuesday 3rd of September.
We are off on a holiday and a well deserved rest. Harry the Ginger cat has given his approval.
We will return in time for the school formal season and all of your general alteration and costume requirements early September. 👋😘🏄‍♀️🏖🏕

Hi Folks. Just a heads up that Dancing Fabrics/Costume Conundrum in Horton street is having a clean up and a bit of a shop refurbishment. Our hours will be a bit all over the place for the next couple of weeks while we strip out, repaint, rebuild. We will be focusing on Alterations and not keeping Fabrics anymore. We will have sale bins and tubs full of reduced goodies so be sure to pop by when we reopen properly to grab a bargain . . We will perhaps even have a name change in time.
It will still be Karen and Wendy doing our best to help you with all your alteration needs.

Hello again Lovely Customers. We have now added Aurora Borealis (AB) colours to our hot fix crystals range and also some sew on clear and AB round crystals for your costuming endeavours. We are still awaiting a fluro/jelly colours range to arrive but are sure to be glorious!!.

Hello lovely customers. We now have a selection of SS20 (5mm) hot fix glass crystal rhinestones in 14 colours plus clear and ABs. They are so Sparkly 💎 We also have Clear and AB in larger sizes. SS30, SS34, SS40, SS50. We have genuine E6000 in small tubes and tweezers to help you on your costume crystal journey .

Greetings Folks. We here at Costume Conundrum/Dancing Fabrics would like to advise we will be closed from 5pm Friday the 20th of January till Tuesday 7th of March due to a medical procedure and recovery time. Sorry for any inconvenience and we look forward to seeing you all in March.
