A little business update from me. 💛

It’s been a much quieter year than usual as my family has been preparing to welcome our newest little member. Thank you to everyone who has continued to support my small business during this special time. Your patience, encouragement and kind words have meant so much.

With baby’s arrival now expected any day, I’ll be taking a short but flexible break from most sewing work to focus on my family. That said, I’ll still be accepting some minor alterations and custom projects where I’m able, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’ll reply to all enquiries as soon as I can, although responses may be a little slower than usual.

For those who have been asking about sewing workshops and private lessons, these won’t be recommencing (at this stage) until the end of 2026 or beginning of 2027. I can’t wait to get back to teaching when the time is right and I’m already looking forward to sharing more sewing with you all! ☺️

Thank you again for supporting my little solo venture; I appreciate every enquiry, recommendation and kind message.

I look forward to sewing with you again soon!

- Mackenzie Ojeda 🌸

🎉 And that’s a wrap! 🎉

The Repair Fair 2025 was such a fabulous day, and I’m so grateful to have been part of this wonderful initiative from Port Macquarie Hastings Council. It was amazing to see so many people come together with a shared interest in repairing, reusing and reimagining what we already have.

The morning started off a little wet but once the rain cleared the crowds poured in. I spent the day chatting with parents and grandparents, meeting countless lovely locals and taking on a bunch of new alteration requests.

My bead bracelet and fabric garland workshop in the craft corner was a huge hit with the kids as well! They were all so proud of their creations and it was really special watching them dive into the materials and make something special. All of the supplies were sourced from Community Crafts and local op shops too.

You might’ve seen some bunting I stitched up for the event as well, all made from repurposed scrap fabrics!

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, got involved or just stopped by for a chat. Days like this remind me why I love doing what I do.

Can’t wait for the next one!

🎉 In Case You Missed It! 🎉

The Repair Fair @ Port Macquarie Library
Sunday 16th November | 10:00am - 12:30pm

I’ll be running a fun fabric garland and bead bracelet workshop for the kiddos at the upcoming Repair Fair! All materials have been sourced from Community Crafts and other local op shops - nothing purchased new. 🌸

The Repair Fair is all about repairing, reusing and reimagining what we already have before throwing it out or buying something new.

I’ll also have a stand with some upcycled clothing and handmade goods, plus info about my alteration, repair and sewing services.

Come say hi and get inspired to make something new from what you already have!

WOWZA! 🤩

My VIP list filled up all my school holiday class spots before I even got a chance to advertise publicly - what a wonderful, supportive community I’m growing!

That said, there’s still 1 spot left in my afternoon skirt class!

The morning hair bow class is already full, but you can join the waiting list and if enough interest comes in, I might open another class.

Book the last skirt spot via my website:

I’ll be opening holiday classes for the second week soon so if you want first dibs, send me your email and I’ll add you to the VIP list!
