Hello! I am in the process of moving to Pottsville and will be unavailable until 11 March. From then I will be in South Golden Beach on Thursdays and Fridays to babysit my grandson and will be taking bookings for drop offs, pickups and fittings on those days for clients unable to travel to Pottsville 🙏

My latest challenge was using the end of a legitimate, gorgeous sari to create a new top, as the original no longer fitted. The beautiful young woman I sewed for has a generous bust, so the pattern I developed incorporated panel lines to give a precise and smooth fit. To avoid interrupting the intricate embroidery I used a zip on the side seam. My main challenge was to use as little of the sari as possible whilst maximising the use of the embellishment in the new top. I think the end result was worthy of its beautiful model!

Winter is on its way - finally! Having recently moved to Bruns from North Queensland my winter wardrobe is non-existent! But if you’re digging out your warm threads and finding they are a bit tight (or a bit loose!), or need some repairs, I can help. And if your old favourite item is looking jaded, I can recreate it for you. Very reasonable rates, and lots of experience, means you can save yourself some $. And don’t forget your fella and the kids! Mending clothes that still have heaps of life in them is an option a lot of people forget or discount thinking it’s not worth it. Many of my clients are quite stunned at how easy and cheap most mending/alterations are!

Whole family outfits for my son in laws surprise Hawaiian themed 40th on the weekend. My automatic buttonhole function broke on my machine so I then had to hand stitch the buttons on all the boys shirts! Was still stitching right before the party started!
