A bit about me and Alikats :)
My name is Katie
I studied Fashion design for 5 years at College and University in the UK. After that my main focus was to travel. I worked in Retail for 2 years to save and booked tickets to various places, the plan was to travel for 2 years. I went to Fiji and New Zealand and had a ball, I then flew to Melbourne and immediately fell in love with the city. I ended u
p staying in Melbourne until my Visa came to an end. In that time I had met my hubby. We got married in the UK and I emigrated to Australia nearly 5 years ago now. I always planned to continue with the Fashion whilst in Australia but having my now 2 year old daughter Alice inspired me to concentrate on children's wear instead. I find it much more fun to do and my motivation now comes from a special place. My sewing time is limited to nap times and bed times of my little one and occasional on the weekends. I will offer so many custom spots per month plus spot sales and the occasional market night. I hope you all enjoy sharing my venture with me and see something you like. :)
