Happy International Women’s Day! IWD is a day to celebrate the economic, political, and social achievements of women worldwide. Collins Square invited , a social enterprise helping over 2000 women through handicrafts and jobs. These women come from difficult circumstances and are asylum-seekers, refugees, or migrants. We listened to impactful stories today. Stories like Victoria who grew up and lived in a Tanzanian refugee camp for 32 years. She now makes lovely earrings as an ongoing income and calls it Judy's Jewellery after her two-year-old daughter.
