Coconut Milk 🥥

A little throwback to one of my favourite trays ever! 🍉

❄️ Everyday Play - Frozen Oobleck ❄️

If you’ve been following us for a while now you’ll know that one of our favourite sensory bases is Oobleck! But have you ever frozen it? 🩵

Frozen Oobleck is SUPER fun to explore as it melts! Oobleck is a Non - Newtonian fluid which means it doesn’t behave the same way water would, if you pick it up and squeeze it together it becomes a solid, let it go and it’s a liquid! 🤯

Frozen Oobleck takes a while to melt (especially large cubes like these) we love adding a pipette dropper and some water to help melt the frozen Oobleck - you can also add in trinkets or animal figurines as a fun activity too! Think about how fun penguins skating on ice would be! 🧊🐧

Recipe:

❄️ 3 Cups of Cornflour
❄️ 1 Cup of Water
❄️ 3 Drops of Food Colouring (optional)

In a bowl combine the water and food colouring (if using). Add the cornflour and mix to combine. Spoon or pour into moulds and place into the freezer until frozen.
