Some blankets mean a little bit more than keeping you warm ❤️
On 6 August, we were lucky enough to be a tiny part of something really special at Marvel Stadium: 's Underdogs.
Underdogs is about kids who, for one reason or another, haven’t always felt picked. Kids who’ve been left out, had a hard time, or just needed a day where they got to feel like the most important person in the room.
And that’s exactly what they gave them.
A day completely about them.
We made each of the kids their own blanket, with UNDERDOG knitted across it and their name underneath, and popped them into their gift bags.
At the time, we just hoped they’d like them, then a couple of messages landed in our inbox.
Jax’s mum Leah told us he’s slept with his every single night since, and that it made him feel “so special.”
And Kate sent us these beautiful photos of Charlotte wrapped up in hers too letting everybody know, "tonight has forever changed her, it's shown her what real kindness and what an inclusive world should look like".
Safe to say there's been a fair few tears shed in the office.
To every Underdog: we hope you never forget that you were picked 🫶
