Thailand Motorcycle trip - Nan to Chiang Rai
This day was full of surprises, We met 2 famous people, stopped at the most spectacular places and watched in horror as a loved one hit the deck.

Views to die for and a soft landing for a fall were on the menu today. We had 280km to ride on this beautiful Nan morning. We were all excited for today, which would end up being jam packed with activities, action and emotion as we hit the village traffic.

WOW, what a great start to our Thailand trip. Day one, from Chiang Mai to Nan.

Here's a little snippet about how it went down!!

Why did the dog cross the road? To get to the other dog! I got out of bed and opened the curtains to a calm, mostly sunny morning. I learnt a lot on our first day of riding...what not to do and what to look out for. Dogs are one!

Thailand Tour, day 2 was our chill day in Chiang Mai. No one sat on a motorbike, so what could go wrong and who would have thought a photo would be the culprit!?

And we're off.... what a box of chocolates day one travel was and we haven't even touched a motorcycle!

We were happy to start our 3 week Thailand Motorcycle trip with a midnight flight from Brisbane to Singapore. Everything started off so well, but it wasn't long before the wheels started to fall off.

Thrills, spills and a couple of very lucky saves on my first motorcycle track day.

My blog includes a few videos and some photos of this incredible day at Lakeside Park with the East Coast Female Riders.

It happened in the last round, on the last lap, and all caught on video... I joined 25 other East Coast Female Riders at Lakeside Park on our first motorcycle track day. After watching a near miss between fellow male riders ... what else could go wrong?

After a few months of Andy stripping back and completely rebuilding the R6, I had a chance to take her for a spin on the weekend. OMG. In love.

I also spent a little time applying some decals. A couple more to go, but super happy with how she looks. We chose a Viking theme.

Our first ever track day is this Saturday so I also tested some cool eye decals to cover the lights. ** I'll be offering these as a discounted price to those attending on the day. **

Excited to listen and learn in the beginner class and to build on my experience in a safe and fun environment.

I'll be posting about how the day went in the hope of helping others who are keen.

NZ over the ditch tour - Day 8 Queenstown to the amazing Milford Sound!
I'd rested Beemer Bruce (my hire) in the garage on day 7, very much needing a rest while the troops went to visit Glenorchy for their Lord of the Rings fix.
With a strange need to speak whale, I popped my heat packs neatly into place before stands were up, and we were off. But, was I really ready for what today had in store...a LOOONG ride to MILFORD SOUND, pouring rain, and a 1pm boat booking!
