^After much deliberation I have decided that it is time to close Pollymop and Dudz4Dudez pages.
Social media can be far too time consuming and frustrating and I would prefer to spend my time in other ways.
I currently have clearance albums and ready to post albums on both Pollymop and Dudz4Dudez pages, so please check them out and if you would like to purchase something send me a message through either page.
I will be closing these 2 pages at the end of March.

I do have a Group page which at this time I will continue to operate. Any stock which is unsold when I close the FB pages will be transferred to the Group page (Let's shop with Pollymop (and Dudz4Dudez) and can be purchased via message in the group.

I am still happy to take custom orders via messenger.

^ I was looking at the calendar this morning and realised that it is only 3 weeks until Easter! Hasn’t that come around quickly this year?

Lucky for you I have a couple of Easter themed items ready to post (and at reduced prices) in my Clearance album.

The little romper is perfect for this time of year when it can be worn as is or if it turns cool you can pop a t-shirt underneath, it’s a size XL or 18 mths.

^ Can you believe it’s March already? Time seems to fly these days.
I haven’t been doing much sewing lately. I have actually been spending my time re-visiting some of the hobbies I have previously enjoyed, and trying out some new interests.

I am currently working on my recipe folder. I have quite a load of recipes that have been written out by friends and family - some of whom are no longer with us and I want to preserve them and keep them nice. It is taking much longer than I thought it would though, although I do only manage to spend an hour or two a day on it.

I have also been tackling my fear of yeast cookery! I’ve been really pleased with it so far, 2 loaves of bread and a batch of buns, (check out the photos) and I am cultivating a sourdough starter to make sourdough bread. That is a test of patience for me as it takes a couple of weeks to mature enough to use.

Have you tried any new hobbies lately?
Oh and I would appreciate any tips from experienced bread makers - especially regards the sourdough.

^ Wow, it has been a long time since my last post.
As many of you know I have had my Etsy store in vacation mode for most of last year, and as that was where most of my orders come from it has been much quieter on the sewing front than usual.
I will not be reopening my Etsy store, but I am still taking orders through this page - I’m just a message away.
These 2 shirts were made as a Christmas gift so I can now share them with you…

^I’ve been sharing this week with the grandkids this week, so the sewing room has been closed and the kitchen has been open.
We have had a bit of fun doing some Christmas activities, making biscuits and of course constructing our Gingerbread houses. I confess that I didn’t make the gingerbread for these ones, we used the kits from the supermarket.
I was a bit worried that they might not stay together but so far all’s well. Pop and grandson made one and The granddaughter and I did the other. Can you guess which is which?
I must confess that much of the joy of Christmas for me is in spending time on these sort of activities and the fun we have together as a family.
Do you have any favourite Christmas activities that your family do together?

^ We are sweltering through another hot day today in WA with the temperature predicted around 38 again - thank goodness for air con!
I think my day will be spent mostly indoors again today.
My Christmas orders are all completed so I am finally working on making a new Christmas dress for me! First time I have sewn something for myself for years.
If you are still thinking about ordering something for Christmas please message me as there is still time to get it made and posted in time for Christmas.

Can you keep a secret? I was planning on starting a clearance sale this week but I didn’t want to be seen as jumping on the Black Friday band wagon so have delayed it - but stand by it will be coming soon!!

^The shirts that were on the machine last week have gone off to be gifted for Christmas, so I won’t be able to show you the finished items until later.
I can however show you this little sibling set which is waiting to be collected.
I do love this Drummer Boy print, it works so well for boys and girls outfits.
How are you going with your Christmas preparations?
I haven’t organised any of my gifts yet, I’m struggling with what to get my family this year. Any ideas for an 11yr old girl and 13 yrs old boy?
