Mending is one my favourite things to do. There was a large tear in the bottom of these client’s jeans which I matched to some denim I had and then “free stitched” over the top. The client and I were happy with how it turned out 😊

A gorgeous friend asked to make some unpaper towels. We decided on double flannelette 👍🏽 it would be great for that flat flannelette sheet at the back of the linen cupboard 😉😊♻️

This really brightened my week so I wanted to share 💕
The gorgeous lady on the left trusted me with a sentimental T-shirt gifted by her cousin (on the left) who gave it to her when they met at their Nanas funeral.
You may not be able to tell from the photos but the T-shirt was a lot bigger than Hayley, so using a singlet of Hayley’s and the excess fabric for the arm and neck bindings we were able to turn this awesome T-shirt into a singlet Hayley can wear and enjoy!
Thanks Hayley for trusting me and I’m so happy you love it. Perfect fit x 🙌🏽😘

Hey how is everyone doing on that slippery slope to Christmas/end of year?! I’m still here busy sewing away. These are 2 more custom wide leg pants I made for a lovely lady. I was very happy with how the pattern matching came out on the first pair!! One happy customer so one happy me 😊💃🏻

Hi 👋🏽 I’ve had some new likes recently on my page so I wanted to say hi and tell you how my business name came about. This is long so feel free to scroll on by. My husband and I met in London but spent our early relationship years in New Zealand. There my nickname was Cherry and his was Salty. And so Cherry 🍒 & Salt 🧂 was born. Thank you to those who have recently found me and those that continue to support me. My side hustle is steadily growing and I’m excited to put more into this in next few months and beyond. Thank you 🙏🏽 💗😻

Do you ever get fabric FOMO? Fear of using the fabric in current project just in case an even more perfect project comes along? I got it with this bright fabric from my stash but when I saw it on the chair I knew it was the right choice 👌🏽🌈 {I found these two bar stools on the kerb they had that yuck airport chic fabric on the cushions}

Not the most interesting of photos 😂 I was inspired by post the other day. My fave hoodie had a bunch of awkwardly placed holes across the bust (don’t ask how that happened 🙄) so I patched them up and put a lace polka circle on top. Happy with the result!
