Welcome to winter! Which means welcome to layers and long boots and long scarves and if you’re like me, the odd long wig.

I love wearing the MEMENTO dresses with long boots and I think I may be using them as an excuse to keep buying long boots from the op shop even though I definitely need no more long boots from the op shop 😆

Also as an op shop pro might I recommend you always check out the tights section because I have found some AMAZING brand new and high quality Italian fancy pattern tights at op shops over the years.

Am I alone in wearing the odd wig out and about?

Winter is a few days away, and you can never have too many cosy scarves! Do you knit? I have a dear friend who is going to teach me so I can make my own and add even more to the collection 😂

Pictured here is one of my op shop faves with a Common Poppy jacket. I’m sure I’ll be wearing it for an outing very soon 😆🍂🍁🥶❄️

Two ladies waiting - not sure for what but they are pretty patient and don’t say much 😆

Esme and Ethel are wearing The Florist Daughter boxy top and matching pant, and the Olga MEMENTO dress with a new MEMENTO tote (although this tote is the prototype, the real one is bigger!).

Say hello to Esme and Ethel (not pictured), my two new display mannequins with moveable arms AND heads and they are both very very tall 😆

Esme and Ethel will be coming with me to the Design Exchange Winter Market in Ballarat. I will be launching the Florist Daughter pants (I picked up the fabric for the last pant design yesterday!) and the new oversized MEMENTO tote bag at the market.

There will be one all of my designs available to see and try on at the market, which will be held in the beautiful Mining Exchange building in Ballarat, a glorious gold rush heritage building which goes rather well with my designs 🤎

Another year as a member of this wonderful organisation 🤎

Happy Mother’s Day, Mum. Without you, I wouldn’t exist. Kind of a lot to be thankful for, really ☺️🤎

I am making a short reel for the upcoming market in Ballarat, but I wanted to share a snippet I grabbed this morning on this very cold and hail-spattered day up here in the Hlls!

I’m pretty sure Mr. Biscuit was in it mostly for the warm lap 🥰

The large Florist Daughter high-waisted pant in The Birthday Gift artwork are done!

They fit Gladys (my Size 20 mannequin) perfectly. Plenty of room around the crotch which was my biggest concern No one likes pants with a hungry bum! 😆

Now the disclaimer is that Gladys has the measurements but not necessarily the shape of the average ladies body. For some reason they designed her wide and flat, rather than putting extra shaping around her bottom and tummy, which would be more natural. Having said that, these pants should still fit someone with a widest hip OR waist measurement (depending on which is the bigger measurement for you) of around 120cm.

I am going to get a few friends to try them on soon. Then it’s onto the website they go!

If you would like to try them on in person I will be at the Ballarat market on the last weekend of June, or if you can wait until July I will also be part of a fabulous pop-up at the Neon Parlour in Thornbury.

Until then, it’s a bit more fit testing with friends, and then onwards we go!

OK so I couldn’t resist and instead of my Common Poppy jacket I took the new White Wreath Florist Daughter pants on a test run.

Don’t they look splendid! I shall photograph them for the website soon 🤎
