After two and a half incredible years, it breaks my heart to say that we are closing down the store.
I’m sure you all know who Toni is, she was sent directly from the gods to manage the store and has done an unbelievable job, she cherishes the community as much as I do and I never thought that was possible.
Unfortunately there have been internal issues in the company that are out my control.
This weekend however, the shop is still full of stock and we are reducing the f**k out of it all. So much stuff that’s been sold out on line for ages that is still in the shop so please come, say hi to Toni and I (and quite possibly the kids) and stock up.
I really do love you Toni, there is nobody on this planet like you and I know we will create magic again together.
And I really do love the community, the beautiful women who have stepped through those doors have actually kept me going through some of the hardest times in my life. 🩷🫶🏽🫶🏽
I hope to hug you tomorrow or Sunday ###

Purple reigns today, Queens!! ✨💜✨

On this extra chilly & cloudy Perth winter's day, my Violet Trench felt like just the right choice this morning for staying toasty warm & color uplifted all day at Queen The Label Fremantle retail.

In keeping with the color palette, I popped a Violet Trench over a Peacock Pastel Luella and put them on our front door.

AND THEN.... I received a message from one of our local Perth Queens letting me know that she's going to be on Channel 9 News tonight speaking out about her experience whilst at a local hospital... and... guess what she told me she was wearing for the interview... her Queen the Label Violet Trench Coat!!! 💜

AND THEN... bursting through the door, cash in hand, was a brand new Queen who just discovered us yesterday, along with her desperate desire for her own Violet Trench Coat!!!

Inspired to share this lil bit of news with y'all, I set up my laptop on the counter, lifted my head up to think about what to type, got distracted by people milling around the bakery across the road... AND THEN... like a scene out of a movie, a deep purple sports car flew by!!! 😳

AND THEN... AND THEN... AND THEN... A beautiful South African Queen brought me in a bottle of South African red wine & shortbread 😍😍 not exactly purple but definitely a magic moment!

AND.... JUST THEN.... I received a half a brownie shared by the store owner next door... another magic moment!

I did not know this kinda VIOLET healing magic was going to be happening today!!!! And on New Moon day too...

May this be a Magic Month for us all...

Wintery weather has been a long time coming in Perth this year. Finally though, over the last few days, the rains have arrived and the temperatures have plummeted to a 10-21C average!!! 😂😂 I've already had a few conversations this morning with Queens saying, "Back home this would be our Summer!!"

For us, it's finally coat weather! And look who called out a "Hello" as he was walking by our front door this morning in his LA WO-man coat... 'KC'... looking very fly indeed with his fresh dreads, wow factor leopard shirt and signature sunshiney smile to complement his QTL Coat!

He's already put in an order for a new Black LA WOMAN Coat when they arrive in store in July and no doubt he'll be claiming ownership of the LA WOMAN Vest too!

If you are one of our divine Queens who've popped into Queen The Label Fremantle retail over the past 22mths you'll already know how it feels to be in our colorful, joyful and love-infused store. It really is a total love surround! Even passers by who wander into the store, having no idea about Queen the Label and our colorful history, are quick to comment on what an uplifting experience it is to walk through our door.

One of my favorite personal experiences of being here is when there have been Queens in the store who don't know each other from a bar of royal soap yet they all end up sharing laughs and juicy conversations while trying on clothes together because they all can't fit in our single changeroom. It really is just like being at home together.

Then there are times when there's only one or two Queens in the store and a deeper conversation weaves its way into our sacred space... and sometimes there's tears, always lovingly held.

On Saturday these two bright sparks wandered into the store, never having heard of Queen The Label before. There was so much electricity generated through their presence and conversation... and then there was the LOVE!!! It was free flowing between them and they were more than happy to share lots of stories with me about their life together.

Then came the Ra Ra Sakura moment. When this new Queen stood in front of our magic mirror, her doting darling graciously poured what seemed like all of his love into her. Overcome by the amplified energy, I said, "Oh my, you two are going to make me cry!" and lightning fast, I found myself receiving a big squeezy Queen hug. This time it was I that was having a spontaneous love-infused wet eye cry!

I'm absolutely convinced that a little of every one of these beautiful connections is left behind in our store, adding to the love vibes that just keep growing and growing. So let this post be a little reminder that you're always welcome, happy, sad or otherwise, in our precious little South Fremantle store!

Hi Queens!

What a wild start to the year we've all had!!
Hasn't it been... 😱🤩😁😡🙃😭😍... and more... sooooo much more!?!

Whatever we've all experienced over the past 5mths, right now we have an immense opportunity to immerse ourselves in a whole lotta loving kindness. Personally, I can't help but imagine the collective Queen love we would radiate if we all focused on amplifying the luscious juicy love in ourselves.

Focusing on our own loving... that can be a tough call. Honestly, though... today, and why not for a few days, let's take the 'Hall Pass' being handed to us and find that exquisite sanctuary within, where our own love for ourselves has been hiding out... and luxuriate in our own lusciousness. Let's see what an impact we can have on everything and everyone around us... I dare us to express our collective lusciously loving audacity!

On Mother's Day, I went to Elizabeth's Bookshops warehouse in Fremantle and browsed a while with one of my daughters. I'm always on the lookout for books by Thomas Moore. My favorite of his, so far, is 'The Re-Enchantment of Everyday Life'. Though, the book I've been on the lookout for is 'Dark Eros: The Imagination of Sa**sm'. I'm curious about his offerings on such supposedly diverse subjects.

Exploring my curiosities... browsing, wandering, meandering... are some of the ways I luxuriate in my own love. It's the anticipation of discovery... an unexpected find, possibly reflecting something hidden in me. Whilst there were no Thomas Moore surprises, I did discover a beautiful treasure to take home for future love immersions.

If you feel to share, I'd love to hear a little about how you access the wellspring of love in you... I'm curious, after all.

A few months ago, Kimberley, one of our UK Queens, sent us a message at Queen The Label Fremantle retail, hoping we'd have a sold out Flora in Chains Gown... and we did so off flew the gown to the UK. Here she is in her kitchen taking some time to luxuriate in her own lusciousnss in her longed for Gown. How deliciously dare she be so yummy!!!

**I started this post early this morning before enjoying a steady stream of Queens throughout the day.** It's not too late to pop in though, we are open til 5pm.

So here's me this morning... practising being TROUBLE!

I have a feeling that the 59yrs and 50wks that I've spent on this planet so far have just been a taste tester for what's to come as I transition into my Sexties!!!

My Rite of Passage initiation of choice... a burlesque solo in March. So I think I'm gonna need to get me another pair of these hottie pants aka our Black Royal Rogues Flared Jeans... because I'm sure I will have pooped the ones I have as showtime gets closer... and they're still 40% off... $65.97! Hi Queens! This past 7wks has flown by in a heartbeat... not unlike the way Santa does his flyby on Xmas Eve, bringing all sorts of surprises, big & small.

At Queen The Label Fremantle retail the gifts of fresh new launches have been flowing into the store at a rapid rate over the past 7wks, always with a flashy smile from Santa's little helpers, our delivery boys!! 🤩😂

Now our store is even more beautiful and bountiful than before. To celebrate, we are having an in-store only 'Secret Santa Sale'... with past launches at perfect prices for that Secret Santa gift you still haven't found... and ok, maybe one for the Queen you are too!!

Job description is, for casual shop assistant in the Fremantle store.
