From sketches to pieces! Here's another look at the pieces we were able to bring to life for Bella ✨🙌🏻

We first worked with Bella last year while she was in her final year studying Fashion Design at uni. She had designed two pieces and needed to take them from the sketches and ideas on paper through to finished, wearable garments.

A special moment for these pieces designed by Bella ✨

We first worked with Bella last year while she was in her final year studying Fashion Design at uni. She had designed two pieces and needed to take them from the sketches and ideas on paper through to finished, wearable garments.

Bella sourced the fabric, and we helped bring her designs to life — turning her ideas into pieces that could actually be fitted, worn, and produced 🤍

We finally got to see the finished designs properly, and it was so lovely to be part of the process from design to the final garment!

The final wedding dress for the beautiful Katelin 🤍

After 50 hours of meticulous work, Katelin’s bespoke wedding gown was finally complete, and the result was nothing short of breathtaking.

Every detail was thoughtfully crafted to bring her vision to life, creating a dress that was truly made just for her.

And as the perfect finishing touch, an artist captured Katelin in her finished gown in a beautiful hand-painted portrait — creating a very special keepsake to treasure alongside the memories of her wedding day. 🤍✨

50 hours...hundreds of tiny details...one very special wedding dress ✨

Katelin came to us with her wedding dress vision, and it was something truly special. The final dress was made from Duchess silk satin from Silk World, with delicate lace sourced from Ukraine.

And the detail? 50 hours went into creating this dress, including an incredible 25 hours of hand sewing. Every piece of lace was carefully hand-sewn into place, finished with beautiful covered buttons running down the back.

When Georgia came to L&B, she brought us something incredibly special — her late mother’s wedding dress. With her mum unable to be there to see her get married, Georgia wanted to carry a piece of her with her on her wedding day. 🤍

We carefully repurposed the fabric and lace from her mum’s original wedding dress into a collection of beautiful keepsakes, including a ring cushion, little hearts for the junior bridesmaids, pocket handkerchiefs for the men’s suits, a garter with blue ribbon, and a hand-fasting tie.

Every piece was made using elements of the original gown, giving the dress a new life while keeping its memories close. ✨

A gorgeous final dress for Amy's special day! 🤍

Amy came into the shop with a wedding dress she'd bought, however it didn't quite fit how she'd hoped. Rather than starting from scratch, we completely transformed the gown to make it work beautifully for her. 🤍

We carefully pulled apart and rebuilt the bodice, reworked the structure and boning, added cups to the bustier section, and rebound the bodice for a more comfortable and flattering fit.

The skirt was also reshaped and shortened, with the excess fabric from the hem repurposed to create beautiful covered buttons running down the back.

Amy loved the final dress, and looked absolutely stunning 🥂🤍
