Bling My Leather is a small hobby business located at Mt Mee, Queensland. Maker of bespoke hand made leather items such as bags, wallets, belts and plaited leather leads for the dog show ring and pet owners. I only use first grade kangaroo leather, and quality solid brass or solid brass/nickel plated snap hooks and rings that reflect the weight of the lead required. Small snaps and rings are also

available to suit toy breeds. All leads have a nylon USA paracord core to reduce stretch with all leather collars and leads are sealed and professionally made to ensure it is smooth in your hands. My leads are custom made to order meaning you get exactly what you want and are priced according to finished length and the number of strands used to make your lead or collar. Please share and dig deep to help Carol with her mounting Vet Bills.

"Bling My Leather" have donated a custom made harness to Redlands Dog Obedience Club to be raffled to help Carol with her ongoing vet bills following a severe gasto event while at Durack during the Agility Nationals.

Her vet bills as a result of that incident continue to mount and Freya has exhausted her pet insurance limits. Carol has been selling various items to help raise funds to cover the costs of these mounting vet bills.

These harnesses have placed at THREE Royal shows this year. Toowoomba, Sydney and now Brisbane. They are literally only two of a kind made by me.

Please note - they are being raffled "as is" meaning there will be no exchange, alterations or returns for another. There is over 200 hours placed into creating in each piece. They are fully hand made by me in full grain natural vegetable tanned leather, hand dyed and hand stitched. They are lined in luxious soft suede and feature celtic/viking knotwork.

A piece that will turn heads everywhere you go. Each harness has fully adjustable straps and a secure D-ring at the top. Perfect statement piece at your next Nosework Trial.

With the exception of being placed onto "Sage" for modelling, both harnesses are brand new and unused.

Tickets are $5 or $10 for 3 through Show Manager and will be drawn at the upcoming Redlands Dog Obedience Club Rally Trial on Saturday September 5th at Judy Holt Park.

The winner gets to choose EITHER between the red smaller harness or the larger green harness.

Makers Note:

Green Harness: MEDIUM
The green harness is made from the MEDIUM pattern. The ACTUAL Pattern measurements are Medium: Neck 43-58cm | Chest 61-82cm | Back 26cm

Red Harness: SMALL
The red haness is made from the SMALL pattern. The ACTUAL Pattern measurements are
Small: Neck 38-51cm | Chest 50-66cm | Back – 23cm

When I made the red harness, I lengthened the straps on the harness side due to the original pattern measurements, the last hole is very tight up against the harness and buckle.

But note: THE BACK PLATE and CHEST PLATE are taken from the SMALL PATTERN.

The back and chest plate measurements is what needs to be considered when making the choice as this is what is going to affect the dog's movement with the harness on.

How are these beautiful bags?

Dragon scale tote bag. Full grain dragon scale embossed bovine leather bag with crazy horse base. Fully lined with internal pocket, key strap and top zip.

Keeping with the dragon theme. The wide mouth craft/toiletry bag. Made with full grain leather dragon scale embossed bovine, lined a fiery red fabric lining.

"Dragon Tears" leather and fabric craft/toiletry bag. Made with Packer Leather Shop "Volcano" Kangaroo leather, featuring two rainbow dragon zipper pulls on the outide and dragon teardrop zipper pulls on the inside. Super soft.

Of course, we cannot forget the usual dragon bags. These are ever popular and will be on the stall again.

Small pouches made from black rose embossed black full grain bovine leather and fully lined. A couple can also double up as a belt bag. Just slide onto your belt. Perfect to carry your phone and some cash.

Made from full grain red dragon scale bovine leather and lined in red/orange tones, this bag is sure to turn heads.

Large leather tote.

I am helping a new leather worker get into the craft. So this week was pattern testing a bag pattern they bought.

Japanese embossed full grain upper.
Red crazy horse base.
Hand stitched the top section to the base with solid brass Chicago screws on the end folds.

Testing out a pattern a student bought bought from Etsy and is coming in for help. (Some Etsy patterns are a bit suss).

Pattern Modifications:
Changed the Sam Brown fitting on the over strap to a magnetic closure.
Added bag feet.
Added an internal pocket to the lining
Added a key strap to the inside of the bag
Added an overall bag zip to the bag.
